That was a very amazing concert given in Leaves by Sunshine and his friends : Artist3D, Marcia, and others.

We all appreciated it. I took some screen shots of this happy time.

BATHROOMS:
Always accompany guests to the bathroom. It is not necessary to do anything. Just sit and stare.

DOORS:
Do not allow any closed doors in any room. To get door open, stand on hind legs and hammer with forepaws. Once door is opened, it is not necessary to use it. After you have ordered an "outside" door opened, stand halfway in and out and think about several things. This is particularly important during very cold weather, rain, snow, or mosquito season.

CHAIRS AND RUGS:
If you have to throw up, get to a chair quickly. If you cannot manage in time, get to an Oriental rug. If there is no Oriental rug, shag is good. When throwing up on the carpet, make sure you back up so it is as long as humans bare foot.

HAMPERING:
If one of your humans is engaged in some activity and the other is idle,stay with the busy one. This is called "helping," otherwise known as "hampering." Following are the rules for "hampering:"

1) When supervising cooking, sit just behind the left heel of the cook.
You cannot be seen and thereby stand a better chance of being stepped
on and then picked up and comforted.

2) For book readers, get in close under the chin, between eyes and
book, unless you can lie across the book itself.

3) For paperwork, lie on the work in the most appropriate manner so as
to obscure as much of the work as possible or at least. Pretend to doze,
but every so often reach out and slap the pencil or pen.

4) For people paying bills or working on income taxes or Christmas
cards, keep in mind the aim: to hamper! First, sit on the paper being worked on.
When dislodged, watch sadly from the side of the table. When activity
proceeds nicely, roll around on the papers, scattering them to the best
of your ability. After being removed for the second time, push pens,
pencils, and erasers off the table, one at a time.

5) When a human is holding the newspaper in front of him/her, be sure
to jump on the back of the paper. Humans love to jump.

6) When human is working at computer, jump up on desk, walk across
keyboard, bat at mouse pointer on screen and then lay in human's lap
across arms, hampering typing in progress.

WALKING:
As often as possible, dart quickly and as close as possible in front of
the human, especially: on stairs, when they have something in their arms,
in the dark, and when they first get up in the morning. This will help
their coordination skills.

BEDTIME:
Always sleep on the human at night so he/she cannot move around.

LITTER BOX:
When using the litter box, be sure to kick as much litter out of the
box as possible. Humans love the feel of kitty litter between their toes.

HIDING:
Every now and then, hide in a place where the humans cannot find you.
Do not come out for three to four hours under any circumstances. This will
cause the humans to panic (which they love) thinking that you have run
away or are lost. Once you do come out, the humans will cover you with love
and kisses and you will probably get a treat.

ONE LAST THOUGHT:
Whenever possible, get close to a human, especially their face, turn
around, and present your butt to them. Humans love this, so do it often.
And don't forget guests.

Speedy Morris was the basketball coach at LaSalle and they were having a pretty good season. One morning, he was shaving and the phone rang. His wife answered it and called out to him that Sports Illustrated wanted to talk to him.

Coach Morris was excited that his team was apparently about to receive national recognition in this famous sports magazine. As a matter of fact, he was so excited that he cut himself with his razor.

Covered with blood and shaving lather and running downstairs to the phone, he tripped and fell down the stairs. Finally, bleeding and bruised, he made it to the phone and breathlessly said, "Hello"?

The voice on the other end asked, "Is this Speedy Morris"?

"Yes, yes!" he replied excitedly.

Then the voice continued, "Mr. Morris, for just seventy-five cents an issue, we can give you a one-year subscription to Sports Illustrated."

The 98-year-old Mother Superior from Ireland was dying, so the nuns gathered around her bed, trying to make her last journey comfortable.

They gave her some warm milk to drink, but she refused.

Then one of the nuns took the glass back to the kitchen. Remembering a bottle of Irish whiskey received as a gift the previous Christmas, she opened and poured a generous amount into the warm milk.

Back at Mother Superior's bed, she held the glass to her lips.

Mother drank a little, then a little more and before they knew it, she had drunk the whole glass down to the last drop.

"Mother Superior, the nuns asked with earnest," please give us some wisdom before you die."

She raised herself up in bed and with a pious look on her face, said," Don't sell that cow!"

Since 2 days, I am very busy... building a new blog to put all of my recipes and that is not easy. The new version is more complicated I find than the old one.

I called it "Clo's Sensuous Delights"...Great program !
For now it is in french (just a little in english) but I'll soon add a translator.

My quiet Saturday morning ended abruptly when my 12-year-old son, Billy, and one of his friends burst through the door.

"Hey, Dad, announced Billy. "Have you met the new neighbors"?

"No."

"Come on, Dad, you have to meet them."

"Some other time. I'm busy."

"Dad, you have to meet them now."

From the urgency in Billy's voice, I assumed the neighbors were waiting outside. I set aside my project and went to the front of the house. No one was there.

"Where are they"? I asked.

"Well, Dad," he explained. "We haven't met them yet either, but our baseball is in their living room!"

Pain de Seigle à la choucroute et au cumin...

La recette :

Acheter de la choucroute crûe, ou cuite, ou en boite au "champagne",
ou utiliser de la choucroûte que vous avez faîte.
Pour la crûe : bien la rincer, puis l'essorer dans les mains,
pour les autres les essorer au maximum dans un chinois en appuyant
avec une cuillère pour avoir 235 g presque secs dans tous les cas!

100g d'eau à 24° C
70g à 30° C
20g de mélasse
20g de beurre
20g de cassonnade
2g de cumin en poudre
6g de sel de Guérande fin
100 g de farine de seigle bio T170
285 g de farine bio T65
15 g de gluten de blé
1 sachet de 7g de levure sèche en petits grains.

Mettre le beurre mou, le sucre dans un côté, la mélasse dans l'autre,
le sel, la choucroute par dessus étalée, le cumin,
et 10 cl d'eau à 24° C, par dessus les 2 farines bien mélangées,
le gluten, dans un petit puit votre levure recouvrez-là un tout petit peu.

Programme basique, croûte foncée.

Au bout 1 ou 2 minutes du second pétrissage rajouter
70 g d'eau à 30°C.

Surveillez le pâton, il est possible que la choucroûte ne soit pas bien "essorée"
et que vous ayiez besoin de rajouter de la farine.. faîtes-le au cours
du 2ème pétrissage petite cuillère par petite cuillère,
pour qu'elle soit bien absorbée par le pâton.

Ce pain peut se déguster avec une choucroûte, du munster,
ou en toast avec du fromage dessus passé au gril,
avec une fondue savoyarde, etc...

Delightful Walnut Meringues...

simple and easy to make.

Preparation time:
15-20 minutes to prepare uncooked biscuit mixture;
plus 30 minutes baking time.

Ingredients for approximately 36 pieces

½ cup Egg Whites (approx. 4 large egg whites at room temperature)
Pinch of Salt
1 cup Caster Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract (optional)
¼ tsp ground Cinnamon (optional)
½ cup Walnuts, finely chopped

Method
Preheat the oven to 150°C (300F).

Line two biscuit trays (cookie sheets) with greaseproof (parchment) paper.

Using an electric mixer beat the egg whites and salt on high speed until soft peaks form.

While mixer is still running, slowly add the sugar a little at a time, alternating with the vanilla and cinnamon, if using. Beat for a couple more minutes, until mixture is stiff and glossy.

Using a teaspoon, drop by the spoonful onto biscuit trays. Lightly flatten biscuits with the back of a spoon. Scatter the chopped walnuts evenly over the meringues.

Biscuits are ready when pale golden in colour, about 30 minutes. Let cool.

Additional Information
It’s important to use fresh eggs at room temperature. It is not recommended to bake these on a humid day, as the humidity will adversely affect the outcome. Be generous with the walnuts add more if necessary. If you have a light hand you can very gently fold in the walnuts instead of scattering them on top. For a flavour variation add some orange zest to the mixture instead of the cinnamon. Since every oven is different, you should keep an eye on the biscuits when baking them for the first time.

The Curtain Rods...

She spent the first day packing her belongings into boxes, crates and suitcases. On the second day, she had the movers come and collect her things. On the third day, she sat down for the last time at their beautiful dining room table by candlelight, put on some soft background music and feasted on a pound of shrimp, a jar of caviar and a bottle of spring water.

When she finished, she went into each and every room and deposited a few half-eaten shrimp shells dipped in caviar into the hollow of the curtain rods.

She then cleaned up the kitchen and left. When the husband returned with his new girlfriend, all was bliss for the first few days.

Then slowly, the house began to smell. They tried everything from cleaning, mopping and airing the place out. Vents were checked for dead rodents and carpets were steam cleaned. Air fresheners were hung everywhere. Exterminators were brought in to set off gas canisters, during which they had to move out for a few days and in the end, they even paid to replace the expensive wool carpeting. Nothing worked.

People stopped coming over to visit. Repairmen refused to work in the house. The maid quit.

Finally, they could not take the stench any longer and decided to move.

A month later, even though they had cut their price in half, they could not find a buyer for their stinky house. Word got out and eventually even the local realtors refused to return their calls.

Finally, they had to borrow a huge sum of money from the bank to purchase a new place.

The ex-wife called the man and asked how things were going.

He told her the saga of the rotting house. She listened politely and said that she missed her old home terribly and would be willing to reduce her divorce settlement in exchange for getting the house back.

Knowing his ex-wife had no idea how bad the smell was, he agreed on a price that was about 1/10th of what the house had been worth, but only if she were to sign the papers that very day.

She agreed and within the hour, his lawyers delivered the paperwork.

A week later, the man and his girlfriend stood smiling as they watched the moving company pack everything to take to their new home.

And to spite the ex-wife, they even took the curtain rods with them!

Shortly after that, Joe passes on.

At midnight, a couple of nights later, Moe is awakened from a sound sleep by a blinding flash of white light and a voice calling out to him," Moe. Moe."

"Who is it"? asks Moe, sitting up suddenly. "Who is it"?

"Moe, it's me, Joe."

"You're not Joe. Joe just died."

"I'm telling you, it's me, Joe," insists the voice."

"Joe! Where are you"?

"In Heaven," replies Joe. "I have some really good news and a little bad news."

"Tell me the good news first," says Moe.

"The good news," Joe says "is that there's baseball in Heaven. Better yet, all of our old buddies who died before us are here, too. Better than that, we're all young again. Better still, it's always Spring time and it never rains or snows. And best of all, we can play baseball all we want and we never get tired."

"That's fantastic," says Moe. "It's beyond my wildest dreams! So, what's the bad news"?

"You're pitching Tuesday."

In memory of Chris ...

I am not sure how many remember Chris, AKA Lord Christopher or the old days of AW....or Y2K or Castles. It has been a while since all of us have been together. I have lost contact with many over the years and several catastrophic hard crashes. I know that those of you that I have stayed in touch with, do have contact with at least a few others of the "old crew". I hope that you will pass this news onto them and maybe they can share with some of the others.

It is with heavy burden, I pass on the saddening news that Chris had an apparent heart attack and has passed to the other side.
He had to place his Mom into a "home"/care facility. He was having his house painted and was apparently found by the painters the next day.
I have no more information than that.

Chris was 39 years old. Sail on Bro. May God speed, ease and heal the pain of your passing. Knowing you as I did, you won't want anyone being sad vor your passing. You would want us to celebrate the time we were allowed to travel together and having what time we shared, to be thought of as good and pleasant memories.

The family is not accepting flowers and the memorial is private service. I talked to his sister last nite and told her I would adopt a wolf in his memory. She thought it was a very good idea since he loved wolves.

Memorial for Chris in Folklore (CNW) will be held at 4S, 11W. on Friday at 2:15pm EST or 8:45pmEST . Cybernet Worlds accepts tourists in all worlds.

Paul sent me a telegram wednesday night (for me) to tell me about Chris death and Kay also did some minutes after Paul.! I was so so sad to learn that and still I am. It is something very sad to hear about a very nice and sweet friend who passes to the other side...I dont find the words to express all my sad feelings.

Suddenly, there is a blinding flash of light as the Heavens open. She is overwhelmed by the voice of God, Himself.
